Marcus Robinson - Speed & Agility Training and Adult Sports Cardio Workouts

Marcus RobinsonMarcus Robinson an 11 year NFL veteran believes dedication, hard work and perseverance is what it takes to become the best you can be at anything you do. He was an All State HS football player in Georgia in 1993. At the University of South Carolina he earned honors in track and field. In 1996 Marcus achieved All American Honors in the 100 meter outdoor championships. He also set records at South Carolina with times of 10.21 second in the 100 meter dash and 21.47 seconds in the 200 meter dash. Marcus also had 52 catches for 736 yards and 3 TD's.

In 1997 Marcus was drafted in the 4th round by the Chicago Bears. In 1999 he set a Bears single season record with 1400 receiving yards. He played one season with the Baltimore Ravens and set a team record with 4 touchdowns in one game. Marcus then played with the Vikings where he scored 20 touchdowns in 3 years. He became one of two players to be with 3 different teams and score 3 touchdowns in one game.

David Hess - Basketball Instruction

David Hess Coach Hess has been a Player Development Coach with the MAX for the past year. Coach plans and runs clinics and camps, as well as private and small group skill sessions for the MAX. He has worked privately and in small groups with over 70 athletes from Kindergarten through college to help them develop and enhance their skill set in all aspects of the game. His sessions are creative, intense, and grounded in the core fundamentals.

In addition to his training experience, Hess has 8 years of basketball coaching experience at various levels. As Head Varsity Coach at Tuscola he led them to the 2006 OKAW Conference Championship and the 2008 IHSA Regional Championship. As a player, David was an All-Area & All-Conference player at Hersey High School where he set 6 school records in 3 point and free throw shooting. In addition to his training at the MAX he is entering his third year coaching freshman basketball at Stevenson High School.

Beth Christell - Basketball Instruction

Beth Christell Beth Christell was a four-year three-sport athlete at Hersey High School competing in volleyball, basketball, and softball. As a senior captain, Christell helped lead the Huskies to a 20-5 overall record. She played varsity basketball at Lake Forest College being named Forester Athlete of the Week, Most Improved Player, Forester Tip-Off All -Tournament Team, Team Captain, and First Team All-Midwest Conference throughout her four years there. Christell averaged 10.3 points and 3.1 steals her senior year and was ranked first in the Midwest Conference in steals, and is currently tied for fourth in school history for steals in a single game with 8. She ended her four-year basketball career at Lake Forest with an overall record of 73-26. Coach Christell graduated from LFC majoring in both Education and Mathematics and is currently in her third year at Stevenson High School in the Student Services Department.

John Camardella - Basketball Instruction

David Hess Coach Camardella has helped lead multiple camps and clinics at the MAX. In his first four seasons as Head Varsity Coach at Prospect High School he has 4 MSL East Division Titles, 2 MSL Conference Titles, and 1 IHSA Regional Title. The 12 MSL All-Conference players, 11 All-Area players, 5 college players, and 2 MSL East Player of the Year are a reflection of his ability to develop talent.

As a player he was All-Conference, All-Area for Hersey High School in basketball. He was All-Conference, MSL East Player of the Year, All-Area, All-State in Volleyball while leading his team to the Elite 8. At Illinois Wesleyan University he was a 4 year letter winner while starting on the team that earned a 3rd place finish in the NCAA tournament his sophomore year. During his Senior season he was captain and led his team to the CCIW Conference Championship and the NCAA Sweet Sixteen while earning team MVP and CCIW All-Conference second team.

Ashley Graham - Basketball Instruction

Ashley is in her 2nd year as the Asst. Varsity Basketball Coach at Stevenson HS. She was a 4 year letter winner at Buffalo Grove HS. An All-State selection in 2002, 2003 and 2004, a 4 year All- Area and All-Conference selection, MSL Player of the Year in 2002 and 2004 and an All-Area Co-Captain her senior year. Ashley played college ball at Illinois State University. She holds the ISU freshman record for 3-point field goal % at 42.9%. Her career stats landed her 11th in 3-point field goals made (67), 13th in 3-point field goals attempted (191), 7th in 3-point field goal % (35.1%) and 6th in games played (115).

Glenn Olson - Basketball Instruction

Glenn OlsonGlenn Olson is the Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Niles North High School. In his second year at the helm, Olson led the team to a school record for wins (24), the Central Suburban North Championship, The Central Suburban League Championship, Regional Championship, Sectional Championship, and advanced to the Elite 8. He was recognized by the IBCA as the District 4 Coach of the Year. The following year the Vikings once again were Regional Champions and advanced to the Sweet 16, finishing with an overall record of 21-9. Olson was once again recognized by the IBCA as the District 4 Coach of the Year.

Previously as the Head Coach at Maine East he compiled a 37-20 overall record including the first Regional Championship in 36 years. Prior to coaching, he was an All Conference/All Area basketball and baseball player at Rolling Meadows High School.

Chad Rebecca - Baseball Instruction

Chad RebeccaChad is a professional baseball player for the Normal CornBelters. Chad also played in the Peach State League for the Macon Pinetoppers where he led the league in Home Runs and RBI's and was in the top five for average, on base and slugging percentage. In the off season, he is the infield and 1st base Coach for Oakton Community College. Chad played his college ball at Stony Brook University and Oakton CC, where he was an All Conference, All Region and a Rawlings Gold Glove selection. Chad helped lead Stony Brook to the America East Conference Championship in 2008 and a bid to the Division I NCAA Tournament at Arizona State University.
